Terms and Conditions - General Conditions of Sale for LakeHouse Media and its sub brands Midlife in Italy, Flytta till Fjällen etc.
Article 1: Scope of Application
These General Conditions of Sale apply to all transactions concluded through the websites and platforms of LakeHouse Media and its sub brands, including but not limited to lakehousemedia.se, midlifeinitaly.com and flyttatillfjallen.se etc. A "client" or "customer" refers to any natural or legal person who places an order with LakeHouse Media and its sub brands, validated via our authorized payment processors.
By placing an order, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these General Conditions of Sale in their entirety.
Article 2: Age Restrictions
LakeHouse Media only accepts clients who are at least 16 years of age for the purchase of digital products (e.g., templates, e-books, digital courses) and at least 18 years of age for the purchase of services (e.g., coaching, workshops, seminars).
We make reasonable efforts to restrict access to our websites, products, and services accordingly. Although the content of our products and services is not of a harmful or shocking nature, we choose to target a mature audience capable of understanding the implications and responsibilities associated with entrepreneurship and the digital economy.
Any newsletter subscriber who does not meet the minimum age requirement of 16 will be removed from our database promptly upon this being brought to our attention. Any customer who does not meet the applicable age requirement is not permitted to purchase our products or services, and any such transaction may be voided.
Article 3: Prices and VAT
Our prices are displayed in U.S Dollar (USD), EURO or SEK. Prices shown to consumers in Sweden include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.
VAT is charged in accordance with applicable EU regulations. For business customers (B2B) who provide a valid EU VAT identification number, the reverse charge mechanism applies where permitted by law.
LakeHouse Media reserves the right to adjust prices at any time. However, the price applicable to any given order will be the price displayed at the time the order is placed.
Article 4: Payment
Payment is due immediately upon placing the order, including for pre-order products.
Accepted payment methods include credit card (Mastercard, Visa), Apple Pay, and PayPal. Cards issued by banks domiciled outside Sweden must be international bank cards.
Secure online payment is processed through the external platforms of Stripe and PayPal. All payment information transmitted is encrypted in accordance with industry security standards and cannot be read during transport over the network. LakeHouse Media does not have access to your full card number, CVV (Card Verification Value), or other sensitive payment credentials. We may store only the card type and last four digits for identification purposes.
Any guarantee as to the security of the payment process is entirely the responsibility of Stripe and PayPal respectively. For more information, please refer to their respective privacy and security policies.
Article 5: Delivery
Our products are digital in nature. Delivery is made electronically to the email address you provided when placing your order. Please take particular care to ensure that the email address you enter is correct.
Access to digital products and content is typically provided immediately upon confirmation of payment. Any risk associated with the use of the delivered products passes to you upon delivery.
Article 6: Right of Withdrawal, no refunds on digital products
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU), as implemented in Swedish law through the Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts (SFS 2005:59), you have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. However, specific exceptions apply to digital content and services as described below:
6a. Digital content (not supplied on a tangible medium)
For purchases of digital content and products that is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g., downloadable files, online course access, digital templates), you acknowledge and agree that:
• You give your express consent for performance (i.e., delivery of the digital content) to begin immediately upon purchase, during the withdrawal period; and
• You acknowledge that by giving such consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully delivered or access has been granted.
This consent is obtained through a clearly marked checkbox during the checkout process.
6b. Services (consulting, coaching, workshops, seminars)
For purchases of services, the 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded. If you request that the performance of the service begins during the withdrawal period, you will be required to:
• Give your express prior consent for the service to begin before the withdrawal period has expired; and
• Acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
If you withdraw from a service contract after performance has begun but before it is completed, you will be required to pay an amount proportionate to what has been provided up to the point you communicated your withdrawal.
6c. How to exercise your right of withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal for services, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement. You may do so by contacting us at:

Vallrun 508,

Email: info@lakehousemedia.se
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication before the 14-day period has expired.
6d. Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
